CT Northwest (a DBA of Kar-Gor) is part of the CT Group headquartered in Orlando, Florida.  CT-NW offers products and services for the transportation industry. CT-NW prides itself in providing its customers the highest level of service for the past 30 years. CT Northwest continues to grow its product line, focusing on products that deliver cost effective solutions and provide unmatched quality and performance. We are very selective in the products that we elect to represent. We have partnered with some of the most forward-thinking, industry-leading manufacturers.  QFree smart city products and their Connected Vehicle applications, smartmicro radar, FLIR thermal, ComNet Switches, Axis CCTV, Bosch CCTV, Proxim Wireless, and ITS Express are some of these companies.  

CT Northwest has thousands of ATC controllers deployed to date as well as multiple central software deployments (ATMS) including in WSDOT Eastern Region and City of Spokane Valley.  CT-NW has installed over 8000 Video Detection Systems in the Western US and Canada and is currently working on hundreds more. CT-NW is the chosen vendor for many agencies in the Northwest because of their staff’s experience and superior customer service.

In the fall of 2010, Kar-Gor was acquired by Control Technologies based in Orlando, Florida. Control Technologies was started in 1980 and has been a leader in the U.S. as a supplier of advanced technologies in the ITS and signalized intersection markets. In Q1 of 2018, Kar-Gor's name was changed to CT Northwest so it will fall in line with the parent company's (CT Group) philosophy of being a leader in the Advanced Technologies for our market.  CT-NW is on the path to embrace that corporate philosophy and the support of all the CT Group's resources.  As CT-NW grows from a Video Detection Supplier to a full service Traffic Control supplier and integrator within the Northwest, they will use the experience of the parent company and its staff to accomplish this growth plan. CT-NW prides itself on being an extension of the agency and being the technical partner in an Intelligent Transportation System.  They continue to work with the agency until the complete solution is accomplished.
